Today, more than seven billion people inhabit our planet and this number is expected to surpass nine billion by the year 2050. Forecasts also predict that the worldwide population will reach at least ten billion by the end of this century. This sharp increase in global population is the root cause of various issues facing our planet, including environmental pollution and food security. Focusing on food security, in addition to rapid changes in diet and eating habits, the livestock and aquaculture industries increasingly face protein shortages as well as soaring prices for protein used in animal feed.

As a R&D-focused venture company, UCDI is attempting to solve food security issues by developing and manufacturing feed-use materials (proteins and dietary supplements) from carbon dioxide using sophisticated and innovative biotechnologies. UCDI’s other mission is to address global warming through its efforts to recycle carbon dioxide.

What We Do

UCDI supplies feed-use materials (proteins and dietary supplements) made from carbon dioxide produced from hydrogen energy in an effort to lower the raw materials costs and improve the efficiency of feed used by the livestock and aquaculture industries.
